From the special stages to the circuits, Renault Clio enjoyed an action-packed weekend with the conclusion of the Clio Trophy France Terre and the first Clio Cup and Clio Trophy Spain Tierra titles. Here’s a look back at a week full of trophies !

Clio Trophy France Terre

Involved in a four-way battle for the Junior title, Matteo Chatillon and Maxence Cornuau led from start to finish to win the crown, the Jean Ragnotti Power Stage Trophy and an official programme operated by 3P Racing, the winning team structure. Jean-Sébastien Vigion (Overall), Laurent Reuche (Gentlemen), Déborrah Marie (Women) and Bandelier Automobiles (Renault Network Challenge) complete the list of Clio Trophy France Terre winners, whose format will return next year.

In addition to the strong performances of the Clio Rally5s at the sharp end of the French 2WD Gravel Rally Championship, Clio Rally3 also impressed in Millau. The crews of Jérôme Jacquot - Marine Grandemange, Pierre Ragues - Julien Pesenti and Pierre Lafay - Benjamin Aubeuf monopolised their class podium whilst finishing ahead of several competitors from the higher categories. The Clio Trophy France Terre organisation would also like to extend its deepest condolences to the family and friends of the marshall who passed away on Saturday, along with its support for all his colleagues.

Clio Cup Series

The tenth of the 13 Clio Cup Series meetings at Circuit Paul Ricard saw Poland’s Jerzy Spinkiewicz take advantage of a tangle between David Pouget and Nicolas Milan at the final corner to score his maiden overall victory in Europe. David Pouget fought back on Sunday to take another step closer to the Clio Cup Series super-winner title. Le Castellet was also the scene of the first crowns, with Jérémy Bordagaray securing the Racers Cups in Clio Cup France and Clio Cup España, just like Luca Franca in the same category in Clio Cup Italia.
