Another chapter was added to the long history that ties Mégane R.S. and the driver-presenter on 21 June, almost ten years after her debut in the Eurocup Mégane Trophy.

"In 2008, I really enjoyed driving the Mégane Trophy V6 as part of the World Series by Renault," she recalled. "I had an emotional connection with the car and I loved driving around every day in Mégane III R.S. and Mégane GT. I haven’t tried my New Mégane R.S. as yet, but I can’t wait to get behind the wheel !"

Margot Laffite also took this opportunity to talk about her role as ambassador : "It’s a pleasure for me to be working alongside a brand with values that I hold dear. It’s both a mainstream manufacturer and a big name in the world of motorsport. The R.S. models provide a link between these two identities, producing cars that have popular appeal and unquestionable qualities. I see the affection that customers have for their cars at each Renault Sport Track Day."

Working as a presenter in the F1 paddock for Canal +, Margot Laffite is also very well placed to assess the progress of the Renault Sport Formula One Team.

"This year, Renault is right behind the leading teams. There is a positive feeling and the team is on the up, with both drivers regularly finishing in the points. There is both genuine rivalry between the drivers and a great togetherness throughout the whole team. It’s quite unusual but it’s great to see because it means Renault is on the right track."
