Customer Racing Activities – 2024/#49

From snow-covered French roads to the special stages in Cyprus, Croatia, Greece, and Italy, Clio Rally3, Clio Rally4, and Clio Rally5 continued to shine and win before heading into winter with the return of the Clio Ice Trophy.

French Rally Cup

The three Clio Rally variants won in France, including a triple class victory in snowy conditions on the Rallye Hivernal du Dévoluy with Julien Bréchet and Thomas Escartefigue (Rally3), Claude and Patricia Benedetto (Rally4) and Julien Charnay and Charlotte Baille (Rally5). The Rallye du Médoc saw a similar hat-trick with victories for Fabien and Antoine Senamaud (Rally3), Dorian and Ronan Deslandes (Rally4) and Jean-Michel Duché and Guillaume Ancelin (Rally5).

Meanwhile, Romain Durand and Ewen Leenhardt finished fourth overall and first in their category in their Clio Rally3, as did Alexandre Villiod and Jacques-Julien Renucci in Clio Rally5. The Rallye de Balagne was also a success, with Fabrice Martin and Romain Gavoye winning Rally3, René Olmiccia, and Xavier Nanni Rally5.

And elsewhere…

Clio Rally3 continued to excel across Europe, dominating the C2 class at Rally Paladio (Greece) with Nikolaos Vigkopoulos and Dimitris Sainis, as well as RC3 at the Winter Rally (Cyprus) with Petros Panteli and Pambos Laos.

Clio Rally5 also won in class 3 and GRC3 at the Rally Show Quadruvium Karojba (Croatia) with Marko Fakin and Moreno Lisjak. Lastly, the model scored won in Italy with Michael Savio and Claudia Chiusole at the Prealpi Master Show and with Marco Nicoletti and Veronica Modolo at the Union Rally Event. The latter duo even joined Michael Rendina and Massimo Moriconi’s Clio Rally4 on the podium in the under-25 category.

Coming up

The fourth edition of the Clio Ice Trophy kicks off on Saturday on the Pas de la Casa Circuit (Andorra). This first meeting will provide an opportunity to see who will battle to succeed Romain Di-Fante, Dylan Dufas and... Antonio Otero, the title-holder ready to defend his crown !
