French Rally Cup

A week after his victory in the French Rally Cup Final, Thomas Chauffray was back behind the wheel of a Renault on the Rallye de la Côte Fleurie. Co-driven by Pauline Chauffray, the Clio Trophy France Asphalte title holder impressed once again, finishing seventh overall on the tarmac roads around Trouville-sur-Mer. Only outpaced by RWD in the two-wheel drive class, he also dominated his category to claim his third win in as many starts with Clio Rally4.

Meanwhile, the duo of Édouard and Morgan Dubos ensured a one-two finish in Rally4 while the Clio Rally5 of Martin Massé and Melvin Pitois won in Rally5 after a hard-fought duel with Romain Wallon and Maxime Daszuk. The pairing of José Da Cunha and Tiphaine Mauduit also took advantage of the final timed sector to make it a Clio Rally5 lockout of the podium at the end of a rally in which all nine Clio Rally5 crews completed the event.

Belgian Rally Championship

On Saturday, Rally van Haspengouw kicked off the Belgian Rally Championship on the tarmac roads around Sint-Truiden. Jonas Dewilde and Jeffrey Vandenbussche used their experience in Clio Rally4 to win ten of the twelve stages and take the win in both the RC4 and the Junior BRC by 48.5 seconds. At the same time, Clio Rally5 monopolised the podium in its category, with Xavier Dekeyser - Nele Tassaert scoring the win ahead of Eric Benaets - Erik Moons. Third, the RACB National Team member Lyssia Baudet and her co-driver Daphné Henry also finished third in the Junior BRC and won the Ladies Cup.

Portuguese Junior Rally Championship

Clio Rally5 and Clio Rally4 scored category victories in round one of the Portuguese Junior Rally Championship on the gravel stages of Rali Vieira do Minho. Gonçalo Henriques and Tomás Branco won four of the six timed sectors to finish sixth overall and take top honours in the RC5 and Junior categories, ahead of the Clio Rally4 of Hugo Lopes and Nuno Alves, who also won the RC4 class.

And elsewhere

In Italy, the Clio Rally5 of Kim Daldini - Daniele Rocca won its class on the tarmac stages of Rally dei Laghi. Clio Rally4 and Clio Rally5 also starred on the tarmac and snow of the Ronde del Canavese, where the Clio Rally4 of Stefano Santero and Fabio Grimaldi finished ninth overall and first in the two-wheel drive class. Massimiliano and Michaela Ponzetti also led the way in their class with Clio Rally5.

In Germany, Tim Wacker and Jan-Eric Bemmann led Clio Rally5 to victory in RC5 at the ADAC Rallye Südliche Weinstrasse. Meanwhile, Rally Alūksne, which counts for the Estonian and Latvian Rally Championships, saw the Clio Rally4 of Thomas Martens and Eddy Smeets finish sixth in the LRC4 class. Fifth in the Latvian Junior Championship, the sixteen-year-old Belgian is four points from the top three.

Lastly, Miguel García Gutiérrez and Osel Román Ruiz rounded off a prolific weekend for Clio Rally5 by winning their class and finishing runner-up in the Tierra Villa de Félix (Spain).
