This past weekend, the Clio Trophy Spain Asfalto crowned Carlos Rodríguez in the fourth season of its history with Clio Rally5, whilst the three rally versions of the Renault Clio triumphed in several events in France and Europe.

Clio Trophy Spain Asfalto

Four crews were in title contention at the start of the Rallye La Nucía-Mediterráneo, the venue for the Clio Trophy Spain Asfalto season finale for the third year running. Third in the trophy in 2021, then second in 2022, Carlos Rodríguez left little room for suspense on the abrasive roads of the Alicante Sierras. The Andalusian and co-driver David Nieto dictated the pace to win the title in style, ahead of Alejandro Martín and Aday Ortiz. Juan Manuel Mañá and David Fernández inherited third place after the retirement of Nicolás Cabanes and Javier Moltó.
