Clio Cup Series

The second to last round of the Clio Cup Series saw Gabriele Torelli (Rangoni Corse) and David Pouget (GPA Racing) share the spoils at Zandvoort. While the Frenchman secured the Clio Cup Series super-winner’s title on Saturday, the Italian experienced a Sunday race marked by a collision with rival Anthony Jurado before sealing his Clio Cup Mid-Europe crown, one year after triumphing in Clio Cup Italia. Rangoni Corse (Teams), Nikola Miljkovic (Challengers Cup) and Rene Steenmetz (Racers Cup) completed the list of winners in Clio Cup Mid-Europe, the first regional group to conclude its 2023 season.

FFSA French Junior Rallycross Championship

Valentin Lumet was the only driver who could really prevent his rival from taking the title, and he gave his all in the qualifying heats on Saturday to keep his hopes alive. Despite his perfect weekend at the season finale at Dreux, the driver from Varade finished 12 points adrift of the title, won by Marceau Launay. A consistent performer throughout his Clio RX campaign, the Normandy-based driver succeeds David Bouet and Tom Le Jossec.
