This weekend, the Clio Ice Trophy crowned its new laureate Dylan Dufas while Clio Rally4 and Clio Rally5 excelled on all surfaces with victories on Swedish snow, Spanish tarmac and Italian gravel !
Clio Ice Trophy
While Lucas Darmezin (WRM by Chanoine Motorsport / SRD Racing) ran the table to win the Clio Ice Trophy season finale, Dylan Dufas (RX Evolution) pipped David Bouet (WRM by Chanoine Motorsport / SRD Racing) for the title. The 26-year-old Frenchman, who won the 2019 French Junior Rallycross Championship in a Renault Twingo R1, is back at the top of his game with his first Renault Clio Rally5 title on the 2,400m high Pas de la Casa Circuit.

And elsewhere
Three Clio Rally4s took part in the Rally Sweden, round two of the FIA World Rally Championship. On the snowy roads around Umeå, Japan’s Nao Otake and co-driver Marko Salminen combined speed, consistency and reliability to secure a solid win in both the two-wheel drive and RC4 categories. Hiraku Kogure, also in a Clio Rally4, was third on the podium with his Finnish partner Topi Matias Luhtinen.
There was also success on the tarmac, with a class win for Thierry Tondut and Brice Brun’s Clio Rally5 on Rally Lloret de Mar. Also in Spain, Clio Rally4 finished third overall on the Valle del Almanzora-Sierra Filabres Rally for José Miguel López Mañas and Miguel Montoya Parra.
Five Clio Rally5s were at Rally Terra Valle del Tevere in Italy. Navigated by Massimo Moriconi, Italy’s Marco Zanin got his second campaign with the model off to a perfect start, with a 49.2s margin of victory over Giuseppe Nucita - Roberto Longo. Niko La Notte - Matteo Zaramella finished third at 1:18.5s adrift of the winning duo. Thanks to their efforts, Marco Zanin and Niko La Notte also finished second and third in the Under 25 category, only beaten by a Rally4.
Lastly, the Belgian duo of Thomas Martens and Eddy Smeets ran strong on the Rallijs Sarma to kick off the Latvian Rally Championship. The 16-year-old finished fourth in his Clio Rally4 in the LRC4 class and sixth in the Junior category.
