Affordable, fun and versatile : Renault Clio Rally6 is revealed
Following the FFSA initiative to make motorsports more affordable, the Clio range is expanding with Renault Clio Rally6. This car, a competitive and reasonable alternative, complies with FR6 regulations thanks to a kit compatible with the fifth generation of the production Clio. Offered for €19,999, including VAT, it will allow drivers to demonstrate their skills in multiple disciplines, starting in France.
An innovative concept in response to the FR6 regulations launched by the French Federation, Renault Clio Rally6 is the first to offer a kit-based solution, thus highlighting the efforts of the Viry-Châtillon and Dieppe teams to bring motorsport to the masses without any compromises.
A unique solution for a model accessible to everyone
To meet the accessibility challenge, Renault Clio Rally6 returns to a simple and proven formula : kits. Building on the natural aptitudes of the fifth generation of the production Renault Clio, the new model has a robust chassis that is unanimously recognised for its qualities, a reliable engine, and several tried-and-tested mechanical components.
The transition to competition mode is a smooth process. Customers will first purchase an eligible production Renault Clio fitted with a 1.3-litre TCe engine developing 140 horsepower and a six-speed manual transmission. After this initial step, the kit containing all the technical and safety elements necessary for the transformation, many of which come from Clio Rally5, will be offered to them for €19,999, including VAT.
As an essential safety feature, the roll cage corresponding to Clio Rally4 and Clio Rally5 definition must be fitted by one of the approved fitters (at the cost of €2,640, including VAT). Once assembled, the car will be shod with road-approved tyres, thus reducing operating costs. Renault Clio Rally6 will then be ready to go !

With this project in keeping with their long-standing ethos, the technical teams from Viry-Châtillon and Dieppe are reaffirming their commitment to making motor racing affordable without compromising the driving experience and safety.
Clio Rally6 has been optimised to the last detail, thanks to their expertise. Technicians, engineers and mechanics have applied the same rigorous and expert methods that have proven their worth with Clio Rally5, Clio Rally4, Clio Rally3, Clio Cup and Clio RX to develop this specific solution.
The components of the Rally6 kit, most of which borrowed from Clio Rally5, have been tested on all surfaces and in all conditions over the past few seasons, guaranteeing the kit’s reliability and durability. Easy to use and fun, Clio Rally6 allows drivers of all levels to experience competition at the best quality/cost ratio on the market.
A wide range of possibilities
Ingenious in its approach and versatile nature, Clio Rally6 develops up to 150 horsepower and 27 m.kg of torque, which is ideal for mastering technical and driving skills in various disciplines.
Rather than integrating a strict format, Clio Rally6 will allow its owners to initially compete in the events of their choice, starting this year. This flexibility will enable them to optimise their calendar according to their availability and budget, making it the perfect car to qualify for the French Rally Cup and its Finale for the many grassroots amateurs. In addition, the FR6 regulations are intended to broaden its horizons by extending to circuits ; hill climbs and other disciplines, both in France and in countries where national federations are interested in integrating this new vehicle.
