Having already secured the Iberia area Clio R3T European Trophy, Fran Cima finished his season in style with another win at Rally de Madrid (14-15 November). He therefore ends the year with a maximum 180 points and has given himself a great chance of doing well at the 2016 Rallye Monte-Carlo showdown. The event will feature the twelve crews qualified from each area : France, Iberia, Italy, Alps and International.

Having already qualified for the 2016 Rallye Monte-Carlo finale, Fran Cima lined up at the start of Rally Communidad de Madrid looking to round off an impressive season in Clio R3T. He made an excellent start by grabbing the group R lead before going on to set a series of fastest times throughout day one. With a comfortable lead over Gil Antunes, Fran Cima eased off on the second leg, ending the day ninth in the overall standings. He scored the maximum 30 points, therefore ending the season with a total of 180. Runner-up with 18 points, Antunes ended his season with a total of 96 points, but Cima will be the only representative of the Iberia area at the Rallye Monte-Carlo.

This was the last of the rallies included in the various Clio R3T European Trophy areas, after eight months of intense competition and more than twenty events. The qualified crews will now turn their attention to the 2016 Rallye Monte-Carlo finale, where they have a chance to win WRC 3 World Rally Championship drive in a Renault Clio R3T.
