Ten teams entered for the 2015 Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0 season

On Thursday 12 March 2015, the World Series by Renault Organising committee and Renault Sport Technologies revealed the teams selected for the 2015 Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0 season. After having begun testing at the Le Mans Bugatti Circuit, the squads entered will continue their pre-season preparations next Thursday at Motorland Aragón.

Ten teams have been chosen to participate this year in the Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0, one of the most competitive feeder series in the world.

These are the ten pre-selected teams that have made all the necessary guarantees to the organization not to mention the qualities of their structures. Among them, Strakka Racing makes its full-time arrival, becoming the fourth team to compete in both the Formula Renault 3.5 Series and in the Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0, reinforcing the driver development programme organised by Renault Sport Technologies.

Six time team title winners between 1996 and 2006, the Italian squad, JD Motorsports makes its return and will also try to dethrone Koiranen GP.

This year, the ten teams can enter between two and four Formula Renault 2.0 cars for the entire season. 22 drivers have already been confirmed. Prior to each event, each team will have to nominate its two drivers who can score points in the team classification.

On occasion, throughout the season, the best from the Formula Renault 2.0 NEC and ALPS will come to measure themselves against the Eurocup drivers.
