Entries for the Clio R3T France Trophy are open !
Contested as part of the French Rally Championship and at other major events, the Clio R3T France Trophy is due to start in six weeks with Rallye Lyon-Charbonnières. However, the season is already up and running, as entries are now open and the Sporting and Technical regulations have been published.
Following an encouraging first year with the Clio R3T European Trophy, Renault Sport has decided to move closer to the needs of its customers by concentrating on four national trophies : France, ALPS, Italy and Iberia. Within mainland France, Clio R3T will therefore contest six rounds of the French Rally Championship, starting with Rallye Lyon-Charbonnières (21-23 April).
With entries now open, the season is underway and with it, the race for a drive at next year’s Rallye Monte-Carlo, the World Rally Championship event. The requirements for the 2016 season of the Clio R3T France Trophy are all included in the attached registration form.
The full sporting and technical regulations are available in the attached documents.
In brief : Only five results will count towards the final standings. At each round, the competitors shall be given points according to their position in the final standings of the rally and will also be awarded additional “Performer” points. Whoever has amassed the most “Performer” points by the end of the season will win the “Jean Ragnotti Best Performer" trophy.
The winner of each round will earn a prize of €7,000 and the top-ten finishers will receive prize money. A prize of €1,000 will also be awarded at each of the six rallies to the top Junior (drivers under 28 years old) and the highest-ranked female driver. Lastly, all the drivers will be awarded prizes in the form of Michelin tyres and ETS racing fuel at the start of each event.
